A-Level
WHY A-LEVELS
First of all it is a flexible course designed to suit the needs of the student. Students have the option of choosing either the A-Level or AS (Advanced Subsidiary) Level courses in order to fulfill university requirements.
Students can therefore opt for subjects which match their interests. Secondly, the programme sets an international standard for education all over the world.

COURSE LENGTH :
The GCE Advanced Levels is a two-year course. Each year has three terms and students are expected to perform well academically. First year students commence classes from July onwards.

WHAT ARE AS AND A-LEVELS
AS Levels are qualifications in their own right but an AS level is worth exactly half an A-Level. Most students at MIC take 3 A-Level subjects and the General Paper English which is an AS Level subject.

WHY IS A-LEVELS THE CORRECT CHOICE FOR YOU
You want to go to a university and this qualification is internationally recognized. You tend to dowell in examinations and feel that you can tackle the challenges of the A-Levels programme.
 
SUBJECT OPTIONS FOR AN A-LEVEL DEGREE
The subjects offered depend on the stream a prospective student intends to take up. The General Paper is compulsory but English Literature can be taken in lieu of it. Subjects offered at A-level are as follow:
